The Financial District has little to choose from when it comes to quality sushi. Most establishments serve less-than-fresh fish with little or no care going into presentation. Akiko's is different. The ingredients are always fresh when I visit, the rolls are to die for (try the asparagus hand roll, and the Akiko's maki roll), and the owner and his crew are always quick to welcome me back. It's the best sushi downtown, hands down!
